To All Photographers:

Friday, December 4th, 2009

I’m in the process of creating some highly-stylized ‘promo’ pieces for a current client and also to test new filters in one of my software packages. What I was looking for is one photographer who might be interested in participating such that I’d do a promo spot for you at no charge, which can be used for your own promotional pieces. All I’m looking for are various photos showcasing one’s work. The image copyright would obviously be maintained by you and the video with Maverick Productions; standard protocol.

If interested please call or email. Thanks!

Corporate Video Project – Walt Disney World – Wrap-up

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Finally unpacked and back home, it was quite a project last week on all accounts. For those that have been following this entire project, you’ll know all of the particulars, but the final days were spent wrapping up last-minute production changes and relaxing. My wife and I spent the last evening dining at Victoria & Alberts, one of the most sought-after restaurants in the country. Moving on, this is going to be an ongoing project and if you’d like to know more just let me know!

Corporate Video Project – Day 6

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Today is supposed to be a “relaxing” day but I’ve spent most of the morning reviewing footage taken over the past several days. For what will be kept, I have 792 photos and just under 8 hours of HD footage to use for the final projects. Now, though, it’s time to take a much needed break!

Corporate Promo Project – Days 3-5

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

It’s been overly exhausting but incredibly rewarding. I’ve filmed countless families; interviews and shadowing throughout the Disney parks, learning such amazing stories from people who reside all over the world. All of the primary shots are complete so being able to relax a bit on Wednesday will be a welcome change.

Day 2 – 92 degrees and going strong, filming is great!

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

10:30am as of now, and I’ve been filming guests most of this morning for various interview promo spots. I shadowed two families around for breakfast and got a handful of food shots for an apparent promo booklet as well. Much of the day will be spent doing this and then forthis evening, I’ll be filming at Kouzzina, a Kat Cora restaurant.

Day 1 – Florida Promo TV Spot

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

After a good flight and settling into our room, much of today was spent organizing and readying equipment for this weekend. I had about 3 hours of shot-testing, which, in 90-degree weather proved interesting albiet walking around with about 20 lbs of lenses and equipment, along a few miles. A lot of Savannah shots were done today, including various birds, giraffe; zebra, and many more. So far so good and much of tomorrow will focus on guest interaction and food setups.
