Filming in Detroit This Week!

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

So rumor has it that I’ll be needed in California, Cap Cana, Boston, and a few other places. I think I need a vacation soon! Anyway, I’m off to Detroit this week to continue filming for a handful of corporate projects and commercials. It’s the final location for the on-going project this month, and this is the largest property for which I’ll also have the least amount of time to film what’s required. It’s a beautiful property that I’ll be filming and I’m sure that once all of this is finalized, it ought to bring in great sales for the client’s Company.

Great Filming in St. Louis, MO & Merriam, KS!

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

Despite the immense exhaustion from the constant traveling, filming, heat, airport delays, and everything else in between, the weather was much better than anticipated and allowed some great filming opportunities. We utilized our latest tripods and slider, which proved absolutely invaluable for almost all of the shots. It was very tiring but once the projects are finalized, it will be great! Stay tuned for updates and added samples will be available soon. Now, if only my flight back to Baltimore wasn’t delayed, it’d be that much better….

Back from New Jersey, now off to St. Louis…and then Kansas!

Monday, August 10th, 2009

Oh, I wish there was time for a vacation, yet somehow I manage to handle such a crazy life. I’m off to St. Louis early Tuesday to film a commercial, and am then driving four hours to Kansas City to film another commercial. I fly back late Wednesday and then off to Philadelphia the day after my return. Somewhere amidst this I need to take a breath!

Chris & Anika’s Wedding, Sheraton – Four Points Hotel, BWI

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Despite the persistent rain – and there was a ton of it – Chris & Anika’s wedding reception was really nice. They’re already married so I was filming just the reception, but I must state that over the last fourteen years in this business, Chris’s mom’s speech was without a doubt the most heartfelt, sincere, wonderful speech I think I have ever heard. I don’t think there were too many dry eyes afterwards, and I must admit, too, that I had a bit of difficulty focusing on my camera and wiping tears away at the same time!

After Chicago & Virginia, now it’s off to New Jersey!

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

And to think how amazing it’d be with more hours in a day and more days in a week! I’m headed to New Jersey for a long weekend to film Oby and Otti’s wedding. While I’ve only spoken to them on the phone, they seem like such wonderful people and I’m sure their wedding will be great! Time to start packing and even packing for afterwards, in that once I get back from New Jersey to celebrate my son’s birthday, a day later I then go to St. Louis for a really big corporate project.
